Pyrantel pamoate ……………………………….. 144 mg
Praziquantel ………………………………………. 50 mg
Excipients: Lactose monohydrate, Microcrystalline cellulose, Magnesium stearate, Sodium benzoate.
Pyrantel pamoate acts against annelid worms (gastro intestinal nematodes), producing the parasite muscles paralysis. This allows Peristaltic movement normal bowel to eliminate the parasite.
Because of its cholinergic action (nicotinic type) it is not recommended to be associated with parasimpaticomimetics organophosphorus compounds.
Praziquantelul is administered against mature and immature stages of cestodes (Taenia).
The product is recommended for the treatment of dogs and cats parasitosis determined by gastrointestinal nematodes (Ancylostoma caninum, Ancylostoma tubaeforme, Uncinaria stenocephala, Toxocara canis, Toxocara cati, Toxascaris leonina) and cestodes (Echinococcus granulosus, Echinococcus multilocularis, Dipylidium caninum, Tenia spp., Mesocestoides spp.).
POSOLOGY, ROUTE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
The product is administered orally, directly or in food (incorporated or minced), unique administration, following the scheme:

The treatment is recommended 3 or 4 times a year. In case of reinfestation with Dipylidium caninum, by means of fleas, these must be removed from the animals and from their rest places and the treatment must be repeated after 14 days.
CONTRAINDICATIONS, PRECAUTIONS AND ADVERSE REACTIONS
Avoid administration in combination with piperazine, levamisol or morantel, parasympathomimetic substances and organophosphorus compounds.
Do not administrate the product to sick animals or to those that are in an inappropriate physical shape. It can rarely be observed in dogs: anorexia, vomiting and/or diarrhea, but the incidence is less than 5%. In cats these effects are quite rare (less than 2%). The laboratory studies have not demonstrated teratogene, phetotoxic and mother-toxic effects.
It can be used during the pregnancy period. No toxic reactions in case of overdose have been observed.
