The product is recommended for the treatment of infestations with: Dirofilaria spp., Toxocara spp., Uncinaria spp.and Ancylostoma spp. in dogs.
POSOLOGY, ROUTE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
Pyramectin is indicated for dogs older than 6 weeks of age. The drug should be administered monthly, depending on the animal’s body weight, according to the table (using the same date each month):

The product used in the specified dose is effective against Dirofilaria immitis in larval stage for a month after infection and prevents the development of the adult stage.
CONTRAINDICATIONS, PRECAUTIONS AND ADVERSE REACTIONS
Because of the manifested sensitivity to ivermectin it should not be administered to Collie dogs (and their half-breeds) and to American Cocker. There are no contraindications for administration to females during mating, pregnancy and lactation. Do not use in feeble animals.
PYRAMECTIN is well tolerated by most of the dogs. Frequent adverse reactions on dogs are trembling, pupil dilatation and loss of body weight. In certain cases of overdose, the immediate adverse effects observed such as stumble, trembling, blindness, disorientation or weakness are observed in 12 hours from administration. Pyrantel pamoate cannot be used in combination with piperazine. There are not any major incompatibilities of ivomectine.
Ivermectine is not administered in combination with AMITRAZ! In case of overdose of ivomectine it may appear certain intolerance manifested by parasimaticaltonic symptoms (lethargy, ataxy, muscular shivering and mydriasis).
