Excipients: Lactose monohydrate, Microcrystalline cellulose, Stearic acid, Starch, Magnesium stearate, Talc, Silicon dioxide.
Flubendazole is an anthelminthic antiparasitic from the benzimidazoles group (albendazole, mebendazole). It is given orally to birds and is active against gastrointestinal nematodes, cestodes and particularly against helminth with tracheal location. Flubendazole destroys not only the adult forms of the parasite, but migratory larval stages. It also has ovocidal effect.
Birds (broiler chickens, chicks, turkeys, pheasants, geese, ducks).
For treatment of helminthosis produced in birds by the following parasites: Ascaridia galli, Heterakis gallinae, Capillaria spp., Amidostomum anseris, Trichostrongylus spp., Syngamus trachea, Railletina spp.
POSOLOGY, ROUTE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
Tablets of VERMIZOL F 10 are administered orally:
- 1 tablet / kg b.w., 2 days consecutively (10 mg. s.a./kg b.w./day).
If the birds’ health does not improve the veterinary must be consulted for reevaluation of diagnostics.
CONTRAINDICATIONS, PRECAUTIONS AND ADVERSE REACTIONS
Do not use in pigeons and parrots. For the efficiency of the treatment the sanitation of the growth spaces is recommended. The product will be used only in birds. Flubendazol is generally well tolerated. There have rarely been noticed abdominal pains, vomiting and passage diarrhea.
In birds, treatment with Vermizol F 10, even at a dose 3 times higher than prescribed, does not affect laying, eggs’ quality or chicks’ quality.
VERMIZOL F 10 is not toxic. There are no secondary effects even at considerable overdose.
